Child Support

LJSA CHILD SUPPORT.........making the world a better place one child at a time.

LJSA CHILD SUPPORT is an organization set up by Lekki Junior Strikers Academy to reach out to the less priviledged children in the society through sports development.

Recent research shows that there are over 178,000 young sporting talents in Nigeria that are yet to be discovered as a result of lack of adequate funding.

The aim of LJSA CHILD SUPPORT is to scout for, and assist such under priviledged talented children get to the top and achieve their dreams as their priviledged peers.
We believe reaching out to children in need and touching their lives in this special way is so important.

By 2019, LJSA CHILD SUPPORT would have had a significant impact on 11,000 chidren of public schools. Free LJSA Registration Forms are given out to this kids.

This is a great opportunity to come to the aid of that talented but under funded child. It is easier to build a child than correct an adult.

You too can be part of this by providing:

- School Fees

- Examination Fees
- Football kits

- Soccer Balls

- Funds

- Boots

....ETC.

All donations are chanelled to the course of the Child Support programme.

Remember, no act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.

LEKKI JUNIOR STRIKERS ACADEMY POLICY STATEMENT

I. ATTENDANCE:
LJS Academy offers training to players who are committed and dedicated to the sport of soccer. Every player accepted into the program is expected to attend all practices (including friendlies) and games which have been scheduled for their team. Parents must notify the team manager by email or phone if a player will not be attending a practice or game. It is the player’s responsibility, if he/she misses a practice or game, to call his/her team manager to find out if any information has been distributed or if a change in the schedule has been made.
I. PARENTAL CONDUCT:
One of our goals is to teach our players the love of the game. We count on parents and coaches to set good examples of sportsmanlike behaviour. The league holds our coaches responsible for the actions of our parents on the side-lines. We have set the following guidelines for behaviour for our coaches, players, and parents.
1. Parents should supportthe team’s players with positive comments from the side-lines after a play has been completed.
2. Parents must not shout instructions to the players. Players must learn to make decisions based on what they have learned at practice. The team coach has important information and instructions that the players need to apply their full attention toward. This does not mean the parent cannot discuss with the coaches if they have suggestions that can improve the players game.
3. Parents should encourage the players to apply the skills taught by their coach. Also understand that players will make mistakes. We all should help the players to understand and accept that mistakes are a part of the game.
4. There shall be no dissentbetween the coaches, players, parents, or spectators of LJSA with the referee, or coaches, players, parents, or spectators of the opposing team during friendlies. Questioning the referee is considered dissent.
5. Parents or spectators must sit on the spectator’s side of the field.
6. Players must sit at the team bench when not playing in the game.
7. Parent Education is mandatory and continuous. Parents must attend all mandatory parent meetings. Articles and messages will be sent to parents by email. All articles should be read and internalized.
To maximize the enjoyment of this experience for kids, parents and coaches must form a PACT.
Parents and Coaches Together!

II. PLAYER FEES, PAYMENTS, AND SEASON COMMITMENTS:
Once a player has signed to play for LJSA, he/she will be responsible for season fees during the entire season even if he/she quits the team before the end of the season.
Every player must follow the payment schedule established by the LJSA Board. "Season Fes", unlessexpressly stated to the contrary, include Coaching fees related to Practices, League Games, and Exhibition Games, Field Maintenance fees, Field or Facility rental fees, and administrative fees.

***PLEASE NOTE, YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE OFICIALLY ADDED TO A TEAM ROSTER UNTIL ALL INFORMATION IS COMPLETE, ALL FEES ARE PAID IN FULL, AND ALL MATERIALS RECEIVED BY THE DEADLINE***
